Free Printable Piano Practice Chart
One page a month for young pianists: write your minutes, color a star on the days you warm up, and count the stars to your reward. Free to print, free to copy for your studio.
This month: October 2026, Halloween edition
The October chart has a square for every day, a star to color when the warm-up is done, a weekly total and a 31-star track. It prints on one US Letter page in landscape and works in black and white.

How to use it
- Write the minutes you played on the line in each day’s square. Hit your daily goal? Circle the number.
- Did your warm-up first (scales or your teacher’s exercise)? Color that day’s star.
- Gray squares are weekends. They count too.
- On Sunday, add up the week: minutes on one line, stars on the other.
- Every star you earn, color one on the track under the calendar. Reach the highlighted star and you pick next month’s piece.
Before each practice there is a short posture check on the chart: feet flat (on the floor, a footstool or a pedal extender), forearms level with the keys, sitting on the front half of the bench. If you are not sure of the right seat height, our bench height calculator gives it from your height.
For piano teachers
Copy it freely for your students. There is a line for your notes after each weekly lesson, and the month total gives you minutes, stars and goal days at a glance.
